Governance policy
Allianz Belgium SA is the main operational subsidiary in Belgium of the Allianz group, one of the world leaders in insurance, as well as asset and bank management. As such, Allianz Belgium SA must continually develop an approach to its activities that is simultaneously transparent, secure and optimal by merging its ability to meet the needs of its customers, professional brokers and its shareholders all while conducting an active risk management policy.
Such is the challenge for growing soundly.
To support this initiative, a daily challenge, Allianz Belgium SA has developed a policy of good governance keeping close to the requirements of the regulatory authorities of its sector, the Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission (CBFA), which published a significant circular on 31 March 2007 about its prudential expectations on the subject.
The company's Board of Directors as well as its Board of Management are completely behind this initiative, which combines the clarity of the organisation, effectiveness of the procedures and the respect of the interests of all participating parties.
This is why they found it important to describe their good governance policy and are convinced that this presentation can only clarify the perception of the professional approach of Allianz Belgium SA.
