What is a hackathon?
Hackathon is a trendy creative and collaborative process which gathers happy volunteers to address a practical issue using computer and data science on a limited period.
Who can attend the hackathon?
Anybody interested and feeling up to the challenge, including (but not limited to) business process experts and designers, process mining experts and process architects, data scientists, artists, developers, startups, students, you.
What happens if I have no data knowledge or insurance knowledge?
We suggest that you create teams with both sets of skills to get the best results. We can also match you with available participants who have registered alone and who have matching skills. For data, coaches will be available on site. Bear in mind that we will take your specificity into account when distributing the prizes.
What’s in it for me?
A great experience, cash prizes, your work presented in the offices of Allianz, and fun!
Can I register alone, or do I need to have a team?
Interested in participating, but your friends or colleagues are not? You can register alone and we will match you with other participants with complementary profiles.
How many people can be in a team?
A team can be formed of 2 to 5 members. If your team is small (2 members for instance), we might propose to add standalone participants to your team.
How much does it cost to attend?
Yes! We will provide food and drinks during the entire event so that you will need to worry about nothing except the challenge.
Can we spend the night at the hackathon?
You can keep working during the night, but there are no beds available. Staying in the office is not mandatory, you can go home or to a hotel should you wish to at night.
What data will we use?
We will prepare mandatory data sets, but you are welcome to bring additional sets provided it is consistent with ours and you have the right to use them
What are the criteria to win the challenge?
The jury will judge on a mix of criteria, taking into account data relevance, clarity, design and most important: benefits for our customers!
When does the subscription close?
You can subscribe until March 8, 2019 at 10:00
